Many structures in nature have a silent core of intelligence, and the activity of the structure is arranged around this core. We see this in the structure of galaxies, solar systems, cells, and atoms. This core is called a Brahmasthan, or place where wholeness resides. As in the structures of nature there is also a Brahmasthan in a Fortune-Creating building. This element helps the building to become a holistic structure of Natural Law. Cities, towns, and countries designed with Maharishi Vastu also have Brahmasthans so that every citizen is connected with the wholeness of Cosmic life.
Since a Maharishi Vastu building is designed to be in harmony with the universe the influence from the building naturally extends into the landscape, providing greater protection and coherence beyond the front door. A Vastu fence or wall marks the extension of this influence. Its proportions and measurements are set according to the ancient formulas of Sthapatya Veda.
The Kalash, a Vedic form installed on the roof of a house, is a signature of Maharishi Vastu. The Kalash enlivens the connection of the house with the cosmos. For more information on Kalashes
